The bulldog, or french bulldog bull-dog is a dog breed dogs of the breed that appeared first in the East with molosse of Sumer whose main features are a skull and highly developed an impressive musculature. It descends from the dogue Tibet which it takes certain specific features such as the nose flattened, the powerful jaw. The hair is pretty short, usually color brindled. The size of the bulldog is average, and in fact a type of molosse relatively small.


Origins

These practices have begun to decline in the United Kingdom in 1835, when a law prohibited them: they have endured so clandestinely for half a century at least. These are the practices which gave its name: bull-dog (bull, in English, means bull), then at home bulldog.

The average size has decreased steadily between their introduction in Europe in the late nineteenth century, along with other morphological variation, selection of the least impressive.

Their use has subsequently evolved into the hunt for rodents, dogs crossing with type terrier, which has helped to improve their tenacity. These mixing successive undoubtedly produces individuals ears straight, but the standard is pending ears.
